The older I get, the more I’m falling in love with beautifully-made men’s suits.  I finally got my first legitimately nice one last fall for my niece’s wedding, and after reading VANITY FAIR’s brand new feature profile of the five best places to pick up your own bespoke or custom-made suit I’m itching for my next one.  I can remember around the early 2000s a friend of mine was raving about his experience during a trip to Hong Kong where he had walked into a custom suit shop, had every inch of himself measured up, and several months later received his custom-tailored suit in the mail at home.  As VANITY FAIR reports, those days are a thing of the past, and they go onto profile the five best places where men can get their hands on the suits of their dreams for terrific prices: Suitsupply, J. Hillburn, Windsor Custom, Seize Sur Vingt, and Martin Greefield Clothiers.  You can read the full profile of each company by visiting VANITYFAIR.com.  And if you have even more cash to spare and want to take your suit to the next level, simply head over to TOM FORD‘s men’s flagship store on Madison Avenue in New York.  For more information watch the Fashion Television profile of my Future Husband TOM FORD’s custom men’s store in the video below (fast forward to the :20 mark)
