Tim Hecker and Daniel Lopatin (ONEOHTRIX POINT NEVER) are releasing their highly anticipated collaborative album Instrumental Tourist on November 20th via Mexican Summer imprint Software.  And earlier this morning they gave us our first taste of the album with the premiere track “Uptown Psychedlica”.  As Ad Hoc writes in their feature post, the entire album was recorded in a style reminiscent of jazz improvisation and “the song is more or less what you might expect from this duo.  Slow and foreboding electronics mix with bright, instrumental flourishes and snippets of cut up guitar drone.”  Glasgow trio CHVRCHES also released their brand new single this morning entitled “The Mother We Share” which features a remix by Optimo‘s JD Twitch.  The single is set for release on November 5th via National Anthem and Create Control.
