David Miller and Samuel D’Amelio are the brains behind the balls-out brilliant duo FUTURE UNLIMITED based out of Nashville, Tennessee. Back when they were just youngins the pair were neighbors who shared a teenage passion for 80s new wave and post punk and as Old Waver describes: “What they’ve created together is a sound that passes over the low-hanging fruit of Depeche Mode and digs deeper into the synthpop lexicon. A listen to the duo’s forthcoming ‘Cloak & Dagger’ EP recalls the edge of Gary Numan, the swagger of Heaven 17, the melody of OMD and the passion of early Tears For Fears.” A little while back the duo released their brand new single “Lightweight Eyes” and it’s pretty much perfect.
