Earlier tonight my buddies Chris and Greg had me and Peter over so we could organize our Provincetown vacation coming up in early August, and right before I left I discovered a gem of a summer track courtesy of ISO50.  Luke Abbott’s dreamy slice of minimal heaven, entitled “Modern Discovery“, had enough of an impact on after such a sunny, hot, and peaceful June day as this that before I left I posted the song’s link for my friends with a quote that I actively Googled under the keywords “June summer quotes”.  Of all the quotations that hit me, one from Lucy Maude Montgomery stood out above the rest: “I wonder what it would be like to live in a world where it was always June.”  Now everytime I hear this song I’ll be sent downstream dreaming of all the reasons why June is such a perfect time of the year.  And if all goes well, “Modern Driveway” will be playing on the car stereo in early August as my friends and I pull up to our incredible summer house rental, right in the heart of the amazingness that is Provincetown.  For all things Luke Abbott be sure to visit his blog, and follow him on Facebook.
