HBO just released a hilarious new trailer for their highly anticipated new comedy series Girls directed, written by, and starring Lena Dunham (Tiny Furniture).  A brilliant combination from my point of view, Dunham has captured magic in a bottle with regards to her comic portrayal of the assorted humiliations and rare triumphs of a group of girls in their early 20s living out their lives in New York. Dunham wrote and directed the pilot of the series, which she executive produces along with Judd Apatow and Jenni Konner.   The cast also includes Jemima Kirke, Allison Williams, Adam Driver Zosia Mamet, and the amazingness that is Lena Dunham herself who stars front and center as the conflicted young woman in the trailer below.  The ten-episode season debuts April 15th at 10:30 PM.  If you’re lucky enough to attend next month’s SXSW you can get an early look at the show as well.  For all things Girls be sure to visit the show’s homepage at HBO.com
