Born in Bath, England in 1984, Mikey Please (a.k.a. Michael Please) is one of the most exciting young animators in the world, and his impressive body of work is catching on in a major way in the entertainment industry .  He graduated with an MA in Animation from the Royal College of Art in London, and prior to this he received a BA (honors) in Technical Arts and Special Effects from the University of the Arts London.  Mikey Please has directed several music videos and award-winning short films and produced commissions for a diverse range of clients from Virgin Media to Transgressive, Rough Trade, Ninja Tune and Universal Records. Mikey’s work is eye-catching and beautiful to look at, but it also displays a rare gift for story-telling and narrative.  Please’s Royal College of Art graduation short The Eagleman Stag kickstarted his professional career in a bold way by winning the BAFTA Award for Best Short Animation.  Very impressive indeed.  To learn more about Mikey’s work be sure to visit his website at MikeyPlease.co.uk.
