Billy Schmidt is the whiz behind this stunning timelapse footage of ammonium phosphate crystals (grown by Schmidt himself) shot with a 5D mark II and a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L macro using various LED and standard lighting techniques.  Shot timing varies from one frame every 15-25 seconds and then sped up between 800-1600%.  Seriously beautiful.  For everything you need to know about crystals CLICK HERE.
