The latest trailer for Tarsem Singh‘s upcoming “sword and sandals” epic IMMORTALS was just released this week and it’s by far the best of the bunch.  I worked as a Set Designer on the film from December of 2009 until June of 2010 and I can’t even begin to tell you how much blood, sweat, and tears went into the making of this movie — but in the best way possible.  I’ve worked with a lot of directors in my time, but Tarsem is a certified genius, and adding to the thrill was my getting the chance to work with an incredible art department, especially Art Director extraordinaire Michèle Laliberte.  My experience designing on IMMORTALS served — and continues to serve — as a reminder of how rewarding and invigorating it can feel to work with an amazing team that makes each other stronger, better, and smarter — inspiring one another to go the extra mile.   I have not yet seen IMMORTALS, but I already know it will always hold a very special place inside my heart as one of the most rewarding and inspired artistic experiences of my life.  Take a look at the trailer below, and get ready for the film’s release on 11.11.11.  You can also follow the film’s release on Facebook and ImmortalsMovie.com.
