Active Child is releasing his highly anticipated album You Are All I See on August 23rd (via Vagrant) and this morning I heard his title track for the first time and I nearly balled my eyes out at work it’s so unbelievably incredible — the last time I got this worked up over a song was from Washed Out’s “A Dedication” (you can listen to it by CLICKING HERE).  “You Are All I See” is laced with the exceptional harp-playing skills and angelic vocals of Mr. Active Child himself, Pat Grossi, and I swear I’m going to have to restrain myself from smacking a bit fat wet kiss on his lips when he plays at Montreal’s Casa Del Popolo with Chad Valley and Com Truise on September 13th.  This is an event that gives a whole new meaning to the term “something to look forward to.”  You can follow Active Child on MySpace, last.fm, Facebook,  Twitter,  and  ActiveChildMusic.com.
