This past weekend my friends and I went camping in Lac Diable (“Devil’s Lake”) in Mont Tremblant Park, about two hours north of Montreal.  Needless to say I’m not looking forward to getting back into my urban lifestyle this week.  It was one of the best camping trips I’ve ever had, even though it lasted only a short weekend.  It always blows my mind how quickly we are capable of shedding our city skins and get acclimated to the pleasures and slow-paced lifestyle of forest life.  And what a forest it was — totally 1,000% magical.  It’s trips like these that make me rethink why the hell I spend so much time in the city.  I miss you already magic forest!!!
