For the longest time in the visual effects industry some of the most difficult textures to recreate were hair, grass, fur, etc.  Each strand has a life of its own and therefore required its own vectorization work.  But now the problem has long been solved and is allowing for some stunning works of animation, such as this MTV ident by Berlin-based studio Sehsucht™.  Entitled “Close & Caring”, it is a quick little beauty giving the viewer a glimpse of a planet whose core is filled with three fuzzy and lovable creatures.   You can learn more about the designers by visiting Sehsucht.de and be sure to check out more of their work on their Vimeo page.
