Mississauga is a suburb west of Toronto and is just about the most boring town in the universe.  I’m not sure why anyone in their right mind would ever want to live there.  As a matter of fact, just saying the city’s name “Missaussauga” out loud makes me want to blow chunks.  I spent my summers as a kid at my cousins’ place on the east side of Toronto and it was paradise, and that experience taught me that pretty much all the suburbs west of T-Dot were reserved for tight ass conservative commuters whose idea of a good time is watching home reno reruns on the assness that is TLC and dining out at Red Lobster on Friday night.  Although nothing much has changed in the typical Mississauga lifestyle, these two brand new soon-to-be-opened towers designed by MAD Architects are about to bring a much needed breath of beauty and expression to that boring as fuck town. The forms themselves are so simple it almost hurts to admit how elegant they are.  Once again Leonardo da Vinci was right: simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.  To learn more about this terrific team of architects be sure to check out their website at i-Mad.com.
