Tomorrow night LE RÉVÉLATEUR is performing at Montreal’s Casa Del Popolo along with ARP and Sabrina Ratté, and I will be the first in line.  Last night I discovered this latest collaboration between LE RÉVÉLATEUR and Sabrina Ratté thanks to Jakub at ISO50, and I have to thank him because it helped me reach a level of thought and focus which propelled me to finish a design deadline that has been worrying me for the past few days.  I’ve always been fascinated by music’s ability to make our brains do incredible things, and their track “Mirages” is a certifiable treasure for not only the ears, but the eyes as well.  I think I listened to it at least 15 times last night, but because I was so deep in concentration with my drawings I couldn’t appreciate the visuals as much as I was enjoying the sound. Having watched it in full this morning the video is certainly lovely enough, but the music itself is the real star here.  You can follow LE RÉVÉLATEUR on MySpace and Facebook, and you can follow Sabrina Ratté on Vimeo and her blog Cinepoeme.
