Heathered Pearls is a one-man music wonder out of New York, and he just released the official video for his latest single “Beach Shelter” directed by ‎Synesthesiae Films, the team behind Teeel’s “Triangular Waves” video (read more about that HERE). “Beach Dreams” pulsates an emotional landscape that alternates between elegance, wonder, fear, and peace, with a haunting beacon that seems to be telling us to “watch out” and “don’t worry” at the same time with an underlying loop of residual water echoing off in the background.  Filled with unsettling images of an abandoned beach town, the ghostly buildings teetering on the edge of collapse serve as a reminder of the power and weakness of memory.  Very much like the built environment around us, our memories are also vulnerable to decay, erosion, and the most damaging of all being time itself.
