Japanese designers have created this extraordinary machine that uses a teflon “treadmill” apparatus to lift off gel/viscous materials from surfaces nearly unharmed.  Just watch the video to see this thing in action because it’s truly impressive.  The thing is, besides providing a new method for handing meat in processing facilities, nobody is quite sure what the hell this thing can be used for.  I’m sure if enough braniacs get together in the same room something will eventually gel.
