WebMD is a blessing and a curse.  Doctors absolutely can’t stand it because since its debut the website has sent a tidal wave of patients straight to the emergency room begging to see a doctor because they know with 100% certainty that WebMD has diagnosed them with cancer.  At the same time, the website has most certainly provided a vast amount of people with an even more vast amount of informative knowledge that has very likely saved lives.  If the following graphic has a message it’s this: a runny nose with a painful headache does not cancer make — use common sense.
