James Blake just released this brand new video for “Lindisfarne”, which is in my opinion the most incredible song of all off his new self-titled album.  The video was directed by Martin de Thurah who also directed Blake’s video for “Limit To Your Love”.  The ethereal, atmospheric, and surreal qualites of de Thurah’s work is a terrific reminder of how music and film can sometimes marry in the most extroardinary ways to create new potential realities for a song.  I’m not entirely sure what is going on in the ritualistic ceremony that unfolds in this video for “Lindisfarne”, but whatever it is I couldn’t take my eyes off it.
