I just came across this beauty of a music video for Ben Howard’s new song “Old Pine”. The video was produced, edited, and post-treated by Astray Films; with direction by Mickey Smith, and D.O.P. love from both Allan Wilson & Mickey Smith. Just a second ago realized that Mickey and Allan are also responsible for the unbeatably brilliant short film Dark Side Of The Lens, so I’ve attached a link to that below as well (the very definition of a “must see”). Dark Side Of The Lens was shot in Ireland, so I’m assuming “Old Pine” was as well. Two stunning love letters to one of the most gorgeous places on the face of the earth.
