The economic crisis of September 2008 cranked up America’s debt to more than $14,000,000,000,000, and somehow it seems to have also boosted Americans’ denial of this gigantic problem.  Why this is not on the front page of every American newspaper every single day is beyond me, but at least PBS’s amazing team at FRONTLINE has their shit together and is ringing some serious bells.  They started airing their documentary Ten Trillion And Counting again recently and I just found out you can watch it for free, so I’ve included the first of six parts below.  I also couldn’t resist re-posting the opening credits once again for Inside Job which gives you a brilliant understanding of why America’s debt load was doubled a little more than two years ago. If you haven’t seen it you are in for a wild 4 minutes.
