Phil Seaton designed this program which he uploaded to the folks at Open Processing (a website created for sharing processing sketches with others to help and collaborate with the community and improve and polish programming skills).  Seaton designed the program to better describe the underlying logics that build birds’ lightweight, insulative, watertight, durable, flight-giving skin. If you click towards the left you’ll generate more streamlined “flight” feathers, and if you click towards the right you’ll generate fluffier down feathers.

To start generating your own custom-made feathers visit Open Processing.
