It comes as no surprise how much I love the music of both Geotic and Teen Daze. Geotic is the side project of Baths member Will Wiesenfeld from California; and Teen Daze is a BC-born chillwaver whose side project, Two Bicycles, I’ve also written about in the past. So it goes without saying my Tuesday morning just got even better with the fresh release of Teen Daze’s reinterpretation of select pieces from Geotic’s extraordinary album Mend.
A couple days back, Teen Daze teased us with a one-track offering called “Trouvez Votre Paix” (his remix of “Find Your Peace” from Mend), and as of this morning you can now enjoy the other three: “Dans Un Monde Esprit”, “Le Étalée, Nouveauté Glorieuse”, and “Transmission Époux”. I’ve been listening to them on repeat for the past hour and can’t get enough.
