Kirby Ferguson has made the following video explanation that walks us through a beautifully concise explanation of how a huge percentage of Hollywood films are either remakes or “remixes”.  Although I don’t disagree with Kirby, I must still applaud a filmmaker for at least making a film.  As my brilliant Architecture professor/mentor, Tom Dubicanac, would always tell me (when I finished ripping apart an artist for the poor quality of their work), “Well, you fucking do better then!” he would tell me.  Having said that, our world would be nowhere if it wasn’t for critics, going all the way back to Plato.  So keep up the great videos Kirby!
