Daniel Algarin is a director living and working in New York where he’s currently attending NYU.  I first discovered Daniel’s work when I came across his gorgeous video for Small Snails’ remix of Benoit Pioulard’s “Kids Are Getting Younger” where he used looping footage from “Pennies From Heaven” with Bernadette Peters (see below).  Below you will also find two other selections of Daniel’s work: a video for Shigeto’s single entitled “Is This All For Real” incorporating retro footage from the care-free 1950s, as well as the official video for Benoit Pioulard’s “A Coin On the Tongue” chronicling the afternoon adventure of a man who appears to be a nature-loving escape convict.  To see more of Daniel’s lovely and amazing work, visit his Vimeo page by clicking here.
