DFA released Static on the Wire, the new EP from the New York disco duo Holy Ghost! this past summer. Their title track “Static On The Wire” (see video below) gives you a good taste of their style. Holy Ghost! recently did a remix of LCD Soundsystem’s “Drunk Girls”. You can hear that remix, as well as the Static on the Wire EP’s title track, streaming over on the Holy Ghost! website. The late Jerry Fuchs played drums on the “Drunk Girls” remix, while John MacLean, aka the Juan Maclean, delivers the guitar solo on “Static on the Wire”.
