This is probably the coolest thing I’ve seen all month.  HAL9000 out of Italy has been posting high-resolution images of the most famous paintings in the world online.  Last year they posted a 16 billion pixel photo of Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper, and now they’ve put up a 28-billion pixel (1500dpi) image of Botticelli’s La Primivera (among many others).

It takes some time to load, but it’s MORE than worth the wait.  CLICK HERE to enter.
