Tragic news out of Hollywood this morning as Quentin Tarantino’s prolific editor Sally Menke was found dead in a ravine after leaving yesterday for a hike with her dog in Beachwood Canyon and not returning.  Details are still coming in.

Menke won an Academy Award in 1995 for her work on “Pulp Fiction” and edited many other Tarantino films.  She was critical in helping shape the signature Tarantino style.  Here is an interview with Quentin Tarantino as he talks about working with Menke on “Death Proof”.  She was 56 years old.
