Sometimes I don’t know which moves slower: civil rights for the GLBT in America, or the Vatican’s policies on just about everything regarding modern life.  This week a Federal Judge ruled that Major Margaret Witt should get back to work ASAP, kickstarting the latest legal setback to the US military’s outrageous treatment of gays and lesbians serving in the military.  Her attorneys, led by the American Civil Liberties Union, said Major Witt’s case now serves as a template for other gays and lesbians who may experience a similar discharge.  Unfortunately, this legal win does nothing for those who have already been discharged based on who they choose to love and build a life with.  Read the full article at Daily Mail.
