Claire Hentschker is a Pittsburgh-based artist specializing in virtual and augmented reality. Her work has been exhibited and presented at the Carnegie Museum of Art, the VIA Festival, the Miller Gallery at Carnegie Mellon, and many others. In one of her most recent works, entitled Shining360, Hentschker extracted and extruded 3D elements from Stanley Kubrick‘s The Shining using photogrammetric technology. The fragments were then stitched together and assembled in the same trajectory as the original camera path. Use your mouse cursor to move 360º around the 30-minute experiment, and prepare to be blow away. For more info on Claire visit her site at ClaireSophie.com.
