Last October the British Film Institute released a revamped trailer for Stanley Kubrick’s sci-fi masterpiece 2001: A Space Odyssey (you can watch it above), one month ahead of the national re-release of the film.  Well, last week on November 28, 2014 the BFI finally kicked off the UK’s highly anticipated 2001-a-thon when they released that magnificent new digital transfer of the film in British theatres.  On that same day the folks at BBC Radio 4’s The Film Programme aired a fascinating 28-minute special on the film and its legacy.  It’s a terrific listen for any Kubrick fan, and you can hear it in full by CLICKING HERE.  I’ve also attached a few 2001 goodies for you below as well.  For all FEELguide stories related to Stanley Kubrick be sure to visit Stanley Kubrick on FEELguide.
