London-based musician SIVU is proving once again that a well-made music video can do wonders for letting the world know you’re about to release a new album. For the video for “Better Man Than He”, director Adam Powell sat SIVU in an MRI scanner at London’s St Bartholomew’s Hospital for more than two hours and captured the performer singing the track. The end result is a fascinating 3-minute-long video that is going viral in a very big way. The video was inspired by research into improving the management of children born with cleft lip and palate, research which is being carried out at St Bartholomew’s Hospital and funded by Barts and the London Charity and CLEFT, a small London-based charity. To learn how you can support the researchers be sure to visit BartsAndTheLondonCharity.org.uk as well as CLEFT.org.uk. To pre-order SIVU’s 7″ you can head over to ASL Records (Europe) as well as No Recordings (North America). And for all things SIVU you can check out SIVUSIVU.co.uk and follow him on Facebook, Twitter, and Soundcloud.
