The directing team of Tim & Joe are the magicians behind the brand new video for Brooklyn-based, Canadian-born future pop duo NEW LOOK and their track “Nap On The Bow”.  To capture the dreamy, underwater atmospheric look, Tim & Joe utilized the Kinect technology of Microsoft’s XBOX and fused the pixelated three-dimensional footage with “a computer-generated aquatic dream.”  As the directors revealed to NOWNESS, “When we heard ‘Nap On the Bow’ we instantly knew the rippling, pixelated images the Kinect captures would fit well.  This allowed us to do all the camera moves around them as well as make them dissolve, explode and even invert.”  The directors have been building an impressive and reputable body of work lately thanks to collaborations with the likes of Primary 1, Booka Shade and Professor Green.  NEW LOOK is the musical act of husband-and-wife team Sarah Ruba (a former model and synth-playing master) and her multi-instrumentalist producer-husband Adam Pavao.  You can follow the music of NEW LOOK on MySpace and Soundcloud.  To pick up your own copy of NEW LOOK’s self-titled album be sure to visit their label !K7.  To learn more about the directing duo Tim & Joe CLICK HERE.
