Neon Indian Previews Two New Tracks Off His New Album “Era Extraña” Debuting September 13th

I love me my Neon Indian.  Needless to say September 13th is a big day for me with the highly anticipated release of his latest LP, Era Extraña. To create his newest sound, Neon Indian (a.k.a. Alan Palomo) even went so far as to design a custom-made three-oscillator synthesizer.  In a recent interview, Palomo elaborated on the design, “It’s a triple triangle-wave oscillator noisemaking device with interchangeable controls for maximal sonic contortion. You can attach knobs, light-reactive photocells, and a variety of other devices for semi-modular capabilities. It can interact with a variety of objects around your house whether electronic in nature or not. It can even interact with your pet. It does not make the same sound twice. Basically, I want you to hack this fucking thing.”

Check out his preview of the two tracks “Fallout” and “Polish Girl” below.  And in what is easily the deal-of-the-week, you can pre-order the 12″ vinyl, the CD, the custom synth, a T-shirt and an autographed poster from Neon Indian by CLICKING HERE. You can also follow Neon Indian on MySpace or at NeonIndian.com.
