Niagara Falls is one of the most majestic sites in North America, and you would be forgiven if you assumed it was 100% natural. The bulk of the vast amount of water that flows over the falls, however, is diverted to massive hydroelectric dams nearby. And the man who controls that button — and hence the precise flow of water that gets diverted to the falls — is Peter Kowalski. NBC Nightly News met up with Peter for this “day in the life” report.
