To his fans, Chris Cunningham is nothing short of a god.  The artist-director has had a powerful influence on the evolution of pop culture’s darker side over the past twenty years than perhaps anyone else.  In 2012 he unveiled his “jaqapparatus 1” robot sex ballet installation at the Audi City London high-tech concept store, and it was during that time that the feature profile above was put together.  You can watch it in full above, as well as one of his most iconic music videos — Bjork’s “All Is Full Of Love” — below.  I’ve also attached a brand new trailer for the upcoming H.R. Giger documentary, Dark Star: H.R. Giger’s World, which you can check out as well.  It’s easy to see Giger and Cunningham are clearly cut from the same cloth.  For more great stories from the world of robotics be sure to visit Robotics on FEELguide
